The effectiveness of a balance bike and a novel sensored balance bike on motor development and learning to ride a bike

Project Description

Balance bikes are designed to help children develop their bicycle riding ability; yet the process by which this happens is not understood. This project aims to examine who children learn to ride a bicycle and how using a balance bike can facilitate this. In addition, it will explore the development of a ‘sensored’ balance bike and associated phone app may enhance this.
